Darien Celebrates America250!

Middlesex Parish (now Darien & Rowayton) is celebrating America 250 - the semiquincentennial!

Join us for events on May 2 and June 13. 

May 2nd

Experience the Revolution

10 am -1 pm - Colonial Demonstrations at the Museum of Darien featuring the Fifth Colonial Regiment

2 - 4 pm - Revolutionary Reenactment at the Mather Homestead featuring the Fifth Colonial Regiment (Patriots)

+ the 38th Regiment of Foot (British)

All day - Take a Walk through History at Highland Farms — 250 signs will tell the stories of Darien's Revolutionary past.

Revolutionary Road Trip

Visit 12 historic sites throughout Middlesex Parish (Darien & Rowayton/Norwalk) 

Each site will have tour guides and even lemonade and other fun!
